A new 346,000 SF, two building, 5-story co-ed dormitory facility accommodating 991 beds situated in 254 bedroom suites. Central common areas include 17 multi-purpose / study rooms, two game rooms, four community kitchens and four laundry rooms.
The facility is served by a 400 ton air cooled chiller and two, 2,000 MBU gas-fired boiler. Each suite is conditioned by its own AC unit with chilled water and hot water coils. Outside air for each suite and supply air for the corridor is provided by roof mounted AC units with a DX coil and gas-fired heater. Each kitchen has it sown grease hood exhaust fan and make-up air unit. A DDC control system controls the central heating and chilled water plants.
